Which Resort?

Well I bet Linzechris is totally confused now. 

This topic has gone from recommendations as to what they're criteria were, to people recommending their favourite resorts, whether suitable to the original posters ideals or not. 

Now we are on to all sorts of subjects as to who holidays where, who spends, who doesn't, what the apartment owners do or reap.

Isn't it amazing how a topic develops just as a normal conversation would.

I love the north of the island and have stayed in most places there,  the good thing about Corfu is that it doesnt realy matter where you stay cause if you can, you only need to hire a car for your stay and then the island is yours to find what you want, have a drink in the mountains or find a random bar on the beach for a cool beer with some crispy sardines or even have a laugh and sing all night on the kareoke in a small bar.  There is a difference between stag week tourism and tourism to just because you may like a pub quiz or a sing along doesnt mean you cant appreciate the views from the top of Paleo or the coves on the East coast.  

To the original post Just go to Corfu and you cant be dissapointed.  Ive been to some far away places and Ive always said that my perfect holiday with a no limits budjet is Corfu, self catering accomodation and a hire car.
