I havent, because if I get one of my 'Heads'...(*puts hand on brow and looks delicate*)...I am out of it for days (migraine), and so I darent risk losing a day or more of my precious hols. However, now you have told me about it, it might be worth bringing some home and testing it out...all in the name of science of course!Evil SmileBeer

No, I don't think the 12* is the Private Reserve. Just looked at a Private Reserve we have in our cupboard which is in a really posh box and bottle and it doesn't have a * rating on, just says matured up to 30 years. Also says it is in a crystal bottle. Only problem is I am not allowed to sample it. Cry Did however sample the12* at Agni Taverna.

Elliemay,

The 12* Metaxa is a dry, very smooth, wonderful Metaxa which doesn't need anything added to it. It also makes a lovely gift.

This just reminded me that we are right out of it!Shocked

Now that I know what MCH has hidden in his store cuboardClap

I really do feel that I've been too prudent in my choice of drink---I was thinking of MCH's bank balanceOuch

But, knowing what I know now---I think it would be a very generous gesture on his behalf---if he where to to give me the---30 year aged Metaxa in the crystal bottleThumbs Up

Me being the generous person I am, of course---I would let him have a smell of itTongue

Before I poured myself a glass of it---in a room temperature glass, lead crystal of course (I'll bring one from home) no ice added!    A lovely cup of coffe along side it---after a delicious meal of home cooked scouseHeart
