What a lovely 1st of March day it is today... I woke up this morning to the Sun shining, plus the Daffodil's are blooming in my garden, A blackbird is having a little look in the bushes to see if it's the right place to build her nest this springStar...

It can't get much better than this can it...Clap

Have great day everyone where ever you are Clap

Big smile  Happy 1st March to you too Bruce! And to those of you who celebrate such things - Happy St David's Day!

And Browning said:
The year 's at the spring
And day 's at the morn;
Morning 's at seven;
The hill-side 's dew-pearl'd;
The lark 's on the wing;
The snail 's on the thorn;
God 's in His heaven—
All 's right with the world!

Hope this makes up for the rain forecast for the weekend (sorry to put a damper on things!)
Big smile

Make the most of it because the outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Turning unsettled and much colder over the weekend and early next week with rain or showers, turning wintry from Sunday, some snow possible, especially over hills, strong northeasterly winds possible.

I'm digging the Morris Minor out of the garage and going for a run before it changes again

Happy 1st of March from me too! Always an especially happy day for me as it is my youngest son, David's birthday!Big smile
Today is even more special because it is his 18th!

(PS we didnt call him David because he was born on St Davids day...he was always going to be David, he was actually due on St Valentines day, and he thanks the lord that he was 15 days late...imagine if we had given him the saints name of the day he was due LOLEvil Smile )

I always think, no matter what the weather forecast, spring is here from this day, my mum always brings me bunches off daffodils on his birthday...and that to me is spring  xxxxxxx

Would have been my late dad's birthday today.  Always have daffodils in the house on this date (I love the bunch up the page).

Pair of blackbirds in our bird bath today - the first dip I've seen this year.  Several pairs of bluetits in the garden.

Spring flowers looking beautiful.

Yes Bruce a lovely day.Hug

When I drove in to the office this morning, it was good to see a couple of cherry trees in blossom.

Yes, spring has sprung.

Mike

I’m not completely useless, I can be used as a bad example.

Hi C4owner

Is that a split screen Moggie?  It looks to be in wonderful condition, from the photo - someone appears to have spent a lot of time and effort on a restoration.Clap

I drove the 30 miles to work this morning in my MGB (with the roof down) as a celebration of the coming of better weather. - That said, it is supposed to rain heavily on Sunday which is bit of a shame as we are going down to Goodwood for the first classic car Breakfast Club meeting of the year.Cry

Yes, it's actually a 1959 but during the restoration a 53 series II split screen, bulkhead and front end was used

A lot of the work was done when I bought it but it needed finishing, new hood etc. + several coats of carnuba wax.

Sorry for straying off topic folks, but if you want more info/pictures Martyn there Here
