Italian built
‘Chiavari 52ft.’
Twin Screw Diesel
Displacement Motor Yacht.

Built 1971. Marine ply
on mahogany. Hull slipped surveyed and overhauled 2003.
The spacious design of
the boat makes it ideal for family holidays, an ideal live aboard motor
yacht, or an excellent opportunity to use for skippered chartering.
There is a Master
cabin with queen size bed, a child’s bunk, and ensuite electric toilet (
macerator ), washbasin and shower.
Two guest cabins
with bunks for two, also with en-suite facilities.
A forward double crew
/ guest cabin with a hatch to the bow deck.
All these cabins are air
conditioned /centrally heated and are below deck level, thus offering a good
degree of privacy for the sleeping accommodation.
At deck level there is a
spacious saloon, a separate well equipped galley and the bridge with a
captains bunk.
The Saloon
has fixed seating upholstered in off white, and four
director style chairs, a television and handsome cabinetry and a coffee
table / dining table which extends to seat eight.
The galley
has a family sized fridge and freezer, ice maker, washing machine, domestic
sized gas cooker, electric micro-wave, double s/s sink with drainer, and
plenty storage, with crockery for ten. The galley, being located at deck
level, makes life in the ‘kitchen’ a pleasant experience, as the cook always
has a wonderful view, instead of working down in the gunnels!!! And during
passage, feeding and watering the captain and crew is a much easier and
safer task.
The bridge
has seating for four on the captain’s bunk, plus a pilot’s seat. Port and
starboard doors lead to the decks.
It is equipped with a
Digital VHF Radio, a depth sounder, a G.P.S, a Nassa Navtex weather
system, a Neco automatic pilot etc.
The spacious forward
deck, is ideal for sunbathing or partying. There
is seating on the forward deck, which is always used by the guests when the
boat is underway if the weather is fine, and when in port provides an
excellent outdoor eating/sitting area away from the prying eyes of the
dockside. (most boats cannot offer this facility)
Double electric anchor
winch.
The Aft Deck
From the saloon, sliding doors open on to the aft deck,
where al fresco meals can be enjoyed under the shade of the fly bridge.
Fly Bridge
The boat can be steered from the flybridge, and again
offers seating and a sun bathing area.
The liferaft,
8 man new in 2002 is on the fly-bridge.
Large engine room
with twin Detroit diesel engines, 375hp (serviced by Mitchells of
Southampton), an onan generator, a sea fresh water maker, air conditioning
pumps, and bilge pumps.
Avon RIB 320 sport
is on davits from the aft deck, with a Johnson 30hp outboard that enables a
water ski-ing facility.
She is based at Gouvia
Marina and the mooring is paid until November 2006.
She is up for sale at
E 150,000 ono.
