Entry to the villa is via the main terrace, reached by a few steps up from the parking area. Once inside, all rooms are on one level with no steps throughout making Villa Kefalaki suitable for anyone with mobility problems. The house has been most sympathetically restored, allowing the old stone walls to speak for themselves. These same stone walls do, of course, help to keep the house cool in summer, but for extra comfort, the whole property is air conditioned.
The galley style kitchen is well equipped with large fridge freezer and dishwasher. (A washing machine is located in the master bathroom.)
(View from kitchen window)
The traditional lounge, with comfortable seating, features exposed stone walls, contrasting with the rich tones of the wooden ceiling, and an open fireplace.
The dining area is close to the kitchen, although with the shaded outside terrace and its magical views being so convenient for the kitchen too, it is unlikely to get much use! It is interesting to note the very traditional window-shaped niche, glass-fronted, home to crockery in the old days, but a useful drinks 'cabinet' today.
Each bedroom has 'French Doors' offering easy access to the main patio and pool - essential for that early morning swim.
Master BedroomThe master bedroom, with a double bed, has an en suite bathroom. French windows open to a private southfacing terrace with views over the pool and direct access.
The three bedrooms are air conditioned.
2nd BedroomThe second bedroom is a twin and has French doors opening on to the main patio.
3rd BedroomAttractively furnished with a modern version of the traditional iron bed.

Google MapNissaki CorfuNissaki is a small, pretty resort with a horseshoe-shaped beach of fine pebbles, offering excellent swimming and water sports. There are several tavernas specialising in Greek cuisine. A small harbour shelters the many little fishing boats that are moored there and there is a jetty/collection point for the Taverna Agni water taxi which offers an evening service to Taverna Agni and a twice-weekly trip to Corfu Town (a small charge is payable to help with the running costs): Nissaki Corfu Agni Travel Property Map - Corfu The above Agni Travel map (click to download), shows the location of Nissaki and Villa Kefalaki. Kaminaki CorfuCorfu's north-east coastline is spectacularly beautiful, but has remained uniquely unspoilt in spite of its celebrity-status. Kaminaki is one of the small and enchanting bays that stud this coastline like jewels on a necklace. Still only a hamlet, with village houses occupied by their original local inhabitants, it has a mixture of modern and converted accommodation, two unpretentious tavernas (and others within easy reach), and water of Caribbean colours that laps against a gently shelving beach of pure white pebbles. One small shop and a complete absence of noisy evening entertainment are other virtues - evenings end here with a quiet drink overlooking the sea, conversation with new or old friends, and perhaps a skinny dip to round things off! Kaminaki has its following of faithful visitors who return each year, and it is not hard to see that anyone could soon become addicted to this very special combination of exquisite scenery, perfect bathing, water sports suitable for kids and adults, and sheer, undemanding relaxation in a friendly atmosphere. Hire a boat and explore the lovely bays along the coast, or stay put and unwind - Kaminaki makes it all possible. Kaminaki Corfu Krouzeri CorfuKrouzeri has a long beach (pebble and sand) offering safe swimming, water sports and diving. Beachside tavernas provide welcome refreshments to those enjoying the beach and excellent snorkelling. The nearby Nissaki Beach Hotel offers a swimming pool which is open to non-residents, a restaurant and bar and, during the evening a low-key disco. There is a jetty/collection point for the Taverna Agni water taxi which offers an evening service to Taverna Agni and a twice-weekly trip to Corfu Town (a small charge is payable to help with the running costs). Agni BayAgni Bay is home to Taverna Agni and Agni Travel. In Greek Agni means un-spoilt and this describes Agni perfectly - just three Tavernas (each with their own jetty for mooring up to) and a sprinkle of local buildings. The bay is reached mainly by rented motor boats, although recently there is now a narrow road down into the bay: Agni Corfu ![]() |
