 Overview
The owners tongue in cheek name for this stylish villa could not be more understated! In fact, this fabulous property would be more accurately described in Greek as a 'mikro kastro', or little castle. An ecletic mix of old and new extends throughout the building, seamlessly fusing traditional stone walls, planed wood ceilings and other natural materials with both timeless and modern furnishings and design concepts. The bedrooms, sitting room, terrace, barbecue area, pool and garden all have magnificent views of Kalami Bay, stretching onwards across the channel to the mountainous Albanian landscape. Inside, the villa is capacious and luxurious, yet accommodates no more than 4 adults (and sorry, but no children), giving it a truly palatial feel.

Layout
Upper Floor: The original old stone house is now the comfortable indoor sitting room, which is complete with a range of hi-tech entertainment technology. From here the pretty, arched patio doors take you out to a short staircase that leads down to the fabulous upper terrace. Upper Floor Terrace: Here an expansive terraced area brings the outdoors inside. A curtained undercover seating area with stylish wooden floors and furnishings is surrounded by a further area of open terrace. This suntrap is ideally equipped with loungers, outdoor dining area and state of the art gas barbeque. Lower Floor: This level is home to the well equipped kitchen. Also here are the two large bedrooms, both en suite. Whilst sumptuous in themselves, their floor to ceiling height sliding glass doors that stretch the length of the outside wall and open directly on the pool make for something very, very special indeed.

Living Room
The original stone house has been converted into a beautifully furnished sitting room. With open fireplace and attractive timbered ceiling it is stylishly decorated with the soft creams, greys and peaches of the classic Timney Fowler fabrics.
The DVD player with screen, Bose I-Pod doc, CD player and radio in this room provide additional entertainment if it is needed.

Kitchen
The attractive kitchen, with its wooden cupboards, granite worktops and large butler style sink, is situated at the back of the building, making it a cool and pleasant space to be in whilst preparing food.
Incorporating a dishwasher, small combination/ microwave/grill oven, halogen hob and large stainless steel fridge freezer it is well equipped for the preparation of meals and snacks. A handy washing machine has also been installed here.

Bedrooms
The two air conditioned bedrooms are also on this level, one with a double and the other on with two singles.
Both are open plan and have opulent corner whirlpool baths, enclosed body jet showers, and vanity wash basins. The toilets are ensuite.
Large sliding glass doors open directly onto the pool, providing stunning views and the opportunity to quite literally dive out of bed for a morning swim!

Swimming Pool
The gorgeous infinity style swimming pool measures a generous 11m x 5m. With wooden sundeck areas at each end, it sits beautifully into the garden, directly in front of the two bedrooms. In addition to the loungers these decks are also furnished with an attractive cafe table and chairs, just right for a leisurely breakfast on a warm summer morning.
A lawned area, citrus and fig trees are just some of the features of this pretty and well designed garden, as are the eight mature olive trees with their silvery leaves below the pool area.

Agni Bay
Agni Bay is home to Taverna Agni and Agni Travel.In Greek Agni means un-spoilt and
this describes Agni perfectly - just
three Tavernas (each with their own jetty for mooring up to) and a sprinkle of
local buildings. The bay is reached mainly by rented motor boats, although recently

Kalami
The bay of Kalami nestles below the hills of the North East Corfu and is famous for
both its beautiful beach, and Lawrence Durrell's 'White House'. A popular destination for couples, Kalami is also
ideal for a family holiday with tavernas, safe swimming, water sports and
boat hire - everyone is catered for! Kalami Corfu
Krouzeri Corfu
Krouzeri has a long beach (pebble and sand) offering safe swimming, water sports and diving. Beachside tavernas provide welcome refreshments to those enjoying the beach and excellent snorkelling. The nearby Nissaki Beach Hotel offers a swimming pool which is open to non-residents, a restaurant and bar and, during the evening a low-key disco. There is a jetty/collection point for the Taverna Agni water taxi which offers an evening service to Taverna Agni and a twice-weekly trip to Corfu Town (a small charge is payable to help with the running costs).
Kaminaki Corfu
Corfu's north-east coastline is spectacularly beautiful, but has remained uniquely unspoilt in spite of its celebrity-status.
Kaminaki is one of the small and enchanting bays that stud this coastline like jewels on a necklace. Still only a hamlet, with village houses occupied by their original local inhabitants, it has a mixture of modern and converted accommodation, two unpretentious tavernas (and others within easy reach), and water of Caribbean colours that laps against a gently shelving beach of pure white pebbles. One small shop and a complete absence of noisy evening entertainment are other virtues - evenings end here with a quiet drink overlooking the sea, conversation with new or old friends, and perhaps a skinny dip to round things off!
Kaminaki has its following of faithful visitors who return each year, and it is not hard to see that anyone could soon become addicted to this very special combination of exquisite scenery, perfect bathing, water sports suitable for kids and adults, and sheer, undemanding relaxation in a friendly atmosphere. Hire a boat and explore the lovely bays along the coast, or stay put and unwind - Kaminaki makes it all possible.
