Sitting right next to a lovely beach and with tavernas only a short walk away, the Beach House has everything to ensure a perfect, relaxing, get away from it all, family holiday.
 

The villa enjoys a large pool, wonderful gardens, elegant furnishings, fabulous views and a whole host of opulent little touches.
The owners not only wanted to make this villa luxurious, but available to all. It has been designed thoughtfully and has the added benefit of a ground floor bedroom, with an en suite wet room and patio doors straight out into the garden. This room, and from there the garden and pool, can be accessed without using any steps making it ideal for older or less able guests too.
 

This lovely villa is set on two levels. Downstairs is a large open plan living, dining and kitchen area and a twin bedroom with en suite wetroom. Both the living area and bedroom benefit from large patio doors that take you outside into the beautifully maintained gardens. A covered terrace to the front of the property is also accessed from the living area doors.
Upstairs are two further bedrooms, the master bedroom which is a large double room has fabulous en suite facilites including a whirlpool bath. The second bedroom is an attractive twin bedded room which also has an en suite. Both bedrooms have their own private balconies that enjoy sea views.
 

The living area is spacious and beautifully furnished, with large leather sofas that seat six easily. It benefits from TV, with local satellite channels and DVD. These are just in case you fancy a change from enjoying the lovely sea views and surrounding countryside that are visible from the large patio doors that allow so much light into this space.
 

The marble staircase that leads to the upper level is located in the living area, giving the place a really open, spacious feel to it.
The living area and other downstairs spaces have ceiling fans that are effective in keeping the indoor temperature reasonable in the middle of summer and provide a gentle breeze even if the air is humid and still outside.
 

Linking the living and kitchen areas is a pleasing dining area furnished with a formal dining table and chairs that seat six. Two patio doors in this space bring outdoors and inside together, enabling guests to enjoy the wonderful views whilst dining.
 

The kitchen in the villa may not be particularly large, but it is well equipped, benefiting from a full sized oven with halogen hob, a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker and microwave. If you enjoy cooking this space won't let you down. It is certainly more than adequate for the preparation of full meals as well as snacks and breakfasts.
However, this is only half the story! Outside is a second cooking area. To call it a barbecue is doing the space an injustice as it also incorporates a pizza oven and its own dining furniture too.
 

Master Bedroom

Upstairs the airconditioned master bedroom is large, light and attractively furnished. With emphasis on clean lines and a flowing look, this room benefits from large patio doors that lead out onto a private balcony with its wonderful seaward views. Further picture windows look out to the side of the villa.
 

The master bedroom balcony is well furnished with chairs and table, making it a lovely yet private spot to enjoy the views, a good book, a glass of something chilled - or even all three!
 

The master bedroom's en suite bathroom is nothing short of sumptuous. Its decor is clean and fresh with accented tones of blue. The large basin sits in its own vanity unit whilst the corner bath is a jacuzzi with shower over.
 

Downstairs Twin Bedroom

The downstairs, air conditioned twin bedded room and its en suite wet room have been specially designed with more elderly or less able guests in mind. The bedroom is light and bright, with comfortable furnishings and large patio doors that lead out into the garden and pool area.
The only thing these rooms lack are steps, making them ideal for anyone who has mobility difficulties as well as able bodied guests.
 

Up Stairs Twin

The other twin bedded room is upstairs. Again this room is a good size, air conditioned, and enjoys similar attractive furnishings to those in the other bedrooms.
It has large patio doors that lead out onto a private, furnished balcony with lovely sea views, as well as a picture window that helps maximise the light and airy feel of the room.
A vibrant en suite shower room completes the picture.
 

All three bedrooms have en suite facilities. The master bedroom has a fabulous large full bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, whilst the upstairs twin room has a shower room and the third bedroom, located on the ground floor, has a wet room.
 

Cloakroom

In addition to the three bathrooms there is also a ground floor cloakroom which has a wc and wash basin. A washing machine is also located here.

The Beach House is as gorgeous outside as it is attractive indoors.
The property is set in extensive gardens, right on the long sandy beach of Kalamaki on the north east coast of Corfu. Overlooking the beach and out to the sea with the enigmatic Albanian mountains on the far reaches of the horizon, its views are exceptional.
The gardens are superbly maintained, with springy green turf and an array of flowering shrubs and tropical plants. A stone path leads from the villa to wrought iron gates at the end of the garden, which in turn take you straight out onto the beach.
It is difficult to say exactly what the focal point of the garden is. It could be the huge swimming pool with its sun terrace and wooden loungers. Or there again it could be the covered al fresco dining area, complete with large barbecue area and its own pizza oven. Either way, the grounds that can be enjoyed by guests to The Beach House are bound to please one and all.
 

Pool details

The fabulous pool measures 12m x 5m; is 1m at its shallowest and 1.7m at the deepest point.
One corner of the pool is separated, making a shallow pool ideal for a childrens play area.
 

Outdoor kitchen and dining

We said that the indoor kitchen was only 'half the story'. This wonderful al fresco dining and barbecue area is the other half. Equipped with a massive barbecue, a pizza oven, ample workspace and an attractive canopied dining area, this has to be the place to enjoy your repast. Whether you sit out here during the warmth of the day, or whilst watching the sun gently set behind the mountains and throwing its golden glow over the water towards you, mealtimes won't get any better than this.

In order that guests can make the most of the wonderful waterside location, six sunbeds are provided exclusively for their use on the beach.
 

There are three tavernas just a couple of minutes walk from the villa.
