Kalliopi opens into a cool hallway from which the rooms radiate - the kitchen/living room to the left and the bedrooms and bathroom to the right.
The open plan modern kitchen is equipped to a very acceptable standard, with electric kettle and toaster, full oven and fridge/freezer. The dining table and chairs are conveniently placed for serving meals.
With two sofas and an arm chair there is always plenty of room to relax, and the broad terrace and inviting swimming pool is right outside, reached through French windows. The lounge area is also large enough to accommodate a camp bed for a 5th person quite comfortably.
The lounge patio doors open directly onto the pool terrace.
The double bedroom is simply furnished with a wall mounted air conditioning unit and side window overlooking the well developed gardens and trees. A dressing table with mirror and double wardrobe completes the bedroom furnishings.
The twin bedded room is simply furnished with a dressing table with mirror and double wardrobe with storage/hanging space. The side window overlooks the garden and path from the house to the beach front.

The large vine covered pool terrace will probably become your favourite part of the house - sitting out here amidst the plants is rather like sitting in a conservatory! Time spent here, either dipping in the pool, relaxing on one of the sunbeds, or sitting round the table will be just what you need. You may be visited from time to time by one of the local inquisitive cats who frequently pass the house on their way to see what is on the menu at the tavernas!
A few steps away, you will find the perfect beach of Kaminaki.
Google MapKaminaki CorfuCorfu's north-east coastline is spectacularly beautiful, but has remained uniquely unspoilt in spite of its celebrity-status. Kaminaki is one of the small and enchanting bays that stud this coastline like jewels on a necklace. Still only a hamlet, with village houses occupied by their original local inhabitants, it has a mixture of modern and converted accommodation, two unpretentious tavernas (and others within easy reach), and water of Caribbean colours that laps against a gently shelving beach of pure white pebbles. One small shop and a complete absence of noisy evening entertainment are other virtues - evenings end here with a quiet drink overlooking the sea, conversation with new or old friends, and perhaps a skinny dip to round things off! Kaminaki has its following of faithful visitors who return each year, and it is not hard to see that anyone could soon become addicted to this very special combination of exquisite scenery, perfect bathing, water sports suitable for kids and adults, and sheer, undemanding relaxation in a friendly atmosphere. Hire a boat and explore the lovely bays along the coast, or stay put and unwind - Kaminaki makes it all possible. Kaminaki Corfu

Agni BayAgni Bay is home to Taverna Agni and Agni Travel. In Greek Agni means un-spoilt and this describes Agni perfectly - just three Tavernas (each with their own jetty for mooring up to) and a sprinkle of local buildings. The bay is reached mainly by rented motor boats, although recently there is now a narrow road down into the bay: Agni Corfu Nissaki CorfuNissaki is a small, pretty resort with a horseshoe-shaped beach of fine pebbles, offering excellent swimming and water sports. There are several tavernas specialising in Greek cuisine. A small harbour shelters the many little fishing boats that are moored there and there is a jetty/collection point for the Taverna Agni water taxi which offers an evening service to Taverna Agni and a twice-weekly trip to Corfu Town (a small charge is payable to help with the running costs): Nissaki Corfu Krouzeri CorfuKrouzeri has a long beach (pebble and sand) offering safe swimming, water sports and diving. Beachside tavernas provide welcome refreshments to those enjoying the beach and excellent snorkelling. The nearby Nissaki Beach Hotel offers a swimming pool which is open to non-residents, a restaurant and bar and, during the evening a low-key disco. There is a jetty/collection point for the Taverna Agni water taxi which offers an evening service to Taverna Agni and a twice-weekly trip to Corfu Town (a small charge is payable to help with the running costs). KalamiThe bay of Kalami nestles below the hills of the North East Corfu and is famous for both its beautiful beach, and Lawrence Durrell's 'White House'. A popular destination for couples, Kalami is also ideal for a family holiday with tavernas, safe swimming, water sports and boat hire - everyone is catered for! Kalami Corfu ![]() |
