Villa Nora is a delightful, two bedroomed, bungalow set within the private grounds of the 'Saint Dimitrios' estate. The villa has a private pool bathed in complete seclusion and seaviews across the Ionian gulf towards Zakynthos island.
Although the villa sleeps four persons it also makes an ideal choice for a honeymoon couple.

The villa has been thoughtfully designed to offer total privacy with each room opening directly onto the swimming pool terrace.
The entrance leads into the open plan living room, dining area and kitchen with hallway leading to twin and double bedrooms.

The well appointed lounge has a feature fireplace, plasma TV, DVD player and has patio doors opening out onto the pool terrace and patio doors opening out towards the BBQ area.

The swimming pool, with beautiful seaviews, is set in well kept lawned gardens which are totally private and not overlooked. Opposite the pool is the private chapel, exclusive to the 'Saint Dimitrios Estate' which is only used once a year for a Christmas service. During the summer months the chapel is not used.
Outside the villa the shaded terrace with wooden table and chairs for al fresco dining is situated by the pool with its fabulous views of the surrounding countryside and attractive bay of Trapezaki. On a clear day the island of Zakynthos is also visible.

A brick built BBQ offers the opportunity to make full use of summer living.

Villa Nora is one of a small select group of quality villas set within the grounds of the 'Saint Dimitrios Estate'. Due to the family connections to the renowned Gentilini winery a bottle of their favourite vintage will be waiting at the villa for you. The estate also has its own private chapel which is only used once a year for a Christmas service.

Local Wines

Kefalonia is the only Ionian island to have been granted "appellation of origin" for its vines. The combination of the cooling slopes of Mount Ainos and the rocky limestone soil provide the island with the best conditions for Mediterranean vineyards.

Complimentary Tour

Guests of Villa Nora are invited to a complimentary tour of the wine estate for a brief look at the vineyard followed by the wine press room and fermentation area. Finally the 'chai' where barrels are stored to mature. The tour is followed by a wine tasting session the herb garden.

Reservation

Tours are conducted from 15 June to 15 September on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 17:30-20:00 hours and in July and August from Monday to Saturday mornings 10:00-14:30 and evenings 17:30-20:30. Please book your tour with Marianna Cosmetatos.

The local beaches of Trapezaki, Kanali, Lithero and Lourdas are all fairly close with the nearest beach being Kanali beach at 1 km. Easier access to Trapezaki beach by car around 2 kms distance.
Transfer from the airport takes about 40 minutes as the airport is 15 kms from Trapezaki. The nearest port is Pessada with twice daily connecting ferry service to Zakynthos.
A greater selection of tavernas, shops and bars will be found in the region of Lourdas which is at a distance of 2 kms.
