Sorry mate can't help you this time, have'nt used a bus anywhere in 40years/ish, and the last time we went on a train (other than Eurotunnell, cool or what) was millenium afternoon because they would'nt let us park on the south bank, and we had tickets for the ballet at the festival hall for the girls. When we came out, there were all these loonys dressed up in weird costumes waiting for something remarkable to happen. We hung on to our little ones (in their fairy outfits) like grim death, in case they became seperated from us in the melli.

Hi Nathan, I see many people standing aimlessly around, waiting for green buses in the summer, complaining that they are not running. I think it should be pointed out, that when you are in a place like Ipsos, which is in the middle of the green bus route from kassiopi to Corfu town, then you have to allow travel time from the start of the trip. ie, if it says 10am from Kassiopi, itwill probably not be in Ipsos until 1030, and Corfu until 11. The times on all bus timetables are start times from place stated. Best bet for bus users is wait in a cafe where you can see bus arriving from a distance, have a beer and enjoy the scenery. Best regards, George

Great to see a timetable within the pages. Saves searching elsewhere. The times depicted in the timetable are obviously the time the Green Buses leave the New Port Station, and the Blue Buses leave San Rocco Square. Would it be a good idea to add in the approximate time of the start of the return journey, ie, half an hour later, or 90 minutes later. This will give some idea for those going into Corfu Town or to other resorts on route.
Great idea as it is though.
Regards, Minola.

Would I be correct in assuming, if I want to travel from one village or resort to another, I would first have to travel to Corfu Town, then catch another bus to my destination? And the same for the return journey? There is no inter-village buses?
Regards, Bidi.

If want a bus on Saturday from Kasiopi if it's daily inc saturday why have a Saturday box? Just say Daily except Sundays. Then have a box for the Sunday service times.
Then take Sinarades we have a daily, we have a saturday, do buses run on sunday on the daily schedule or not at all?
Sorry you did ask..
Jeremy

It appears from the timetable in the link above that some resorts/places have a Saturday service and some do not. Some also have different times on a Saturday compared to week days. Likewise, some have a Sunday service and some do not. If the Saturday times are the same as weekdays, then the times straddle both Daily and Saturday.
Hope that helps you out.
Regards, Minola.

Yeah bit confusing at the moment!! Take Sinarades, this should read Agios Gordios as it is the last stop and yes buses do run on a Sunday, 9.30, 1.00, and 5.30. Last year there was only one bus from Kass, 9.30 am on a Sunday. Have scanned the time table but cant seem to add it to my post
