You dont know how lucky you are its brrrr freezing (its minus something) here in Newcastle and I had to scrape SNOW off my daughters car this morning - come to think of it how daft am I - she can do it herself tomorrow!! The A1 between Newcastle and Morpeth (Northbound) has been closed today due to heavy snow (I hope its reopened now coz I need to get home to Northumberland soon). Doesnt matter how accurate and early the forecasts are we always seem to be caught out by it on our roads - other countries seem to manage far better with far worse conditions than we experience.
Regards, Kath

It feels freezing tonight in Sinarades. I moved and stacked half a ton of wood this afternoon for the fire- then didn't need one as the sweat was pouring off me! Need one now though! Just enjoying a glass of Sandermans Port and the last mince pie in front of the tv.

Hello David H
The Agni webcam is moved to the Agni travel office whilst the taverna is closed. It is usually moved back to the Taverna when they start getting ready for the new season so probably around mid April. I miss it too.

yes, I always said that being in Corfu was a lot better than scraping the ice off the car in the UK in the morning! and my lovely hotelier didnt know what that was like! He said to us ' don't buy a house here, as you wouldn't know how cold it gets, but not as cold as here in UK, so now we have (got a house in Corfu)

I notice that the side-bar link for the webcam has the title Corfu Webcams - note the pural. As there are other webcams on Corfu, Arillas and San Stef NW to name but two, could there be links to these included on the webcam page? I'm suggesting this as an improvement for site visitors - it's not intended to be a criticism of the way Nathan has things set up at the moment.
Regards
Paul

Lynn flew of of Corfu on her way home this morning (via Athens) and she said it was cold, grey and damp. Athens, on the other hand, was warm and sunny when she got there!
Hope Corfu improves by Saturday, when I arrive!

That must be a toy car on the window sill of the Agni office - it hasn't moved for weeks! Webcams? What webcams? I can only find one - are there others? - and if so, how do I access them? Anyone `on the ground' got any info about the current weather this weekend, or the forecast for next week? I'm flying out on Monday (19th) and hoping to `escape' to some Corfu sunshine, but it doesn't look too promising at the moment and I'm wondering whether to bring an umbrella.......or a parasol! Any info eagerly awaited - the time is fast a'flyin'! Happy holidays, Tom

Hi Denise.
I know it would be a bit of a struggle for me, but do you fancy swapping places with me here in a nice cool, wet and windy UK.

Sorry about that.
I spent all day yesterday setting up the new camera but a power cut last night jammed it! I have now fixed the time that the current shot was taken. If you have any suggestions they would be welcome.

We have the very high winds here on the West coast. We are in Sinarades and the wind was howling through the village all night and making the roof creak. It is still very windy this morning and everyone has their shutters closed tight.
Have just seen the CNN report about mainland Greece and they have flooding, snow in the mountains and winds up to 100 km an hour at the moment.
