Please, please tell me truth about this place??? Sidari Village/ Sidari Garden Village/ Panorama Resort. What is it actually called?
Can anyone who has visited recently give me info on food/drink/swimming pool and rooms for 2 adults/2 children (aged 15/12). Are the maisonette rooms "private" enough? Tell me what the breakfast is like, full English? Is is really a cardiac hill? Any help appreciated...or do I go self catering.

Can't tell you what it's like, but what I would like to say is "please go self catering" & help support the local businesses, you'll find many bars & tavernas that you will thank yourself for not booking A/I.

I totally agree-lots of my friends have booked AI to places like Turkey this year and have tried to get us to go too but I can never imagine going anywhere else and Sidari has so many places to eat for a variety of budgets that I would never consider AI.
Cant speak for the place you are wanting to go to but have been to Sidari a few times and the town is such a friendly place I look forward to going out every evening and with such excellent choice-we never get bored.
Would definitely recommend you go self catering

Hi ladyboy, the complex was originally known as Sidari Garden Village. They had a problem with the topsoil (nothing would grow), so dropped the "garden". Some very bad publicity the first couple of years they were open, including an appearance on "Holidays From Hell", I think led to the name change. Having said all that, the last few years I've heard mainly good things about the place. Nice accommodation and spectacular views! It is indeed "cardiac hill", but the company run mini buses up and down to the centre all day, I believe. Not sure about night time. Personally, I would avoid A/I and just go self catering. We just came back from Sidari two weeks ago and found the prices in the tavernas/restaurants have not increased from last year, and in some cases have gone down. There are lots of "set menus/children's menus" available. Food priced in the supermarkets are very high however, if you really want to self cater. Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. Enjoy.
P.S. Things do grow at the Panorama now.

If you do a search for Sidari Garden village on Google you will see some recent reviews which are mainly good - except the food which gets mixed reviews, so go self catering!!!
It appears there is a mini bus for the hill so no problems there and there are some reviews which mention the maisonette accommodation which might help you

There was a very good review in Saturday's (19th) Sun travel pages of Sidari & Corfu Panorma Resort all-inclusive which said "the food was excellent and plentiful" but I agree with the other posts on here that if you go A/I you will miss out on some wonderful eating places around Sidari/Canal d'Amour area.

Hi, we are going to the Sidari Panorama on the 19th July. Although this is AI we do plan to eat our evening meals out for the fortnight we are there. I booked this holiday last year and got a great deal for the three of us and since then have read so much about Sidari and its lovely people and eateries so I guess we will get the best of both. We do plan to take advantage of the free drinks, lunch & ice cream etc. throughout the day but go out to eat in the evening.
In hindsight I would probably have booked SC after reading all the discussions on this forum, but its booked now and because we didnt pay over the odds for the accommodation we can have the best of both worlds.
I have read very mixed reviews on the internet regarding the accommodation but one thing is very clear, its not for people with walking difficulties!!
I am of course hoping that the place is okay, I can't wait to visit all the lovely restaurants quoted on hear...
Whatever you decide to do I'm sure you will have a great time in Sidari...(and thats coming from someone who hasn't set foot in the place yet!!)

We have been back from Corfu Panorama resort for 4 weeks. Food was fine maybe a bit repetative drinks OK pool was good we stayed in family room which was huge, the duplex maisonnettes were slightly smaller but OK. The staff were really nice the hill is a bit of a pain but the bus was really good. We were there for 2 weeks and ate out a few times whilst the food was reasonable the drinks were quite expensive. I can't tell you about the complex itself, but what I do know is the countless number of residents trekking down the hill at night for somewhere else to drink! There were many people in our hotel bar who came down to watch the football, after the Village only put the World Cup games (inc. Englands) on in the bar in which you have to pay for your drinks! There were a lot of unhappy people!
Personally the food, drinks and people that you meet in Sidari town are unbeatable, it's so cheap to eat and the drinks aren't that bad, as anywhere, if you drink local.
