Hi All, just booked for the Alkion June 10th for 2 weeks, had to miss this years Corfu fix because of an ear disorder so was unable to fly, had the operation last Friday so should be OK to fly next year, bring it on.

Isn't it a great feeling to know the next trip is booked. I can't wait to book - our crowd are looking at 10th June also (although in San Stefanos) but waiting for 5/6 people to get the time off work organised slows things down. I can't settle until my next Corfu fix is sorted!

We booked about 2 weeks after we returned from Sidari this year and are going back 29th July to 13th Aug 2011, staying at Takis II apartments which aren't too far away from Three Pigs restaurant. The Alkion looks a nice hotel. Have never stayed but used pool and had drinks there in past years. Hope your op went well and glad you've got your hol to look forward to next year, as we all have...

I agree with you that Dimitri, Mike and families (at Little Prince) are lovely people - we've have also known them for 20 years from the Three Little Pigs days. In fact I've a video and pics of my husband and brother-in-law dancing in full costume (borrowed from Ramon and Vasilli, the Albania dancers you may also remember).
I love staying in San Stefanos because I like walking in the surrounding area but I also like going back to Sidari to see friends from the early years. We had a great week at Terezas (as always) in September and it would be brilliant to stay there again.

All excited now as I have just booked flights for 3rd July for eight nights. Waiting for confirmation from the apartments but don't anticipate any problems. Hubby and I always gone with tour op before so this is the first time we have done it independently:-)
