Can anyone give me a price appox it is to take a car (average in size) to corfu and back out of season?..... which route is best to take? Or can anyone point me in the right direction of previous topics helping????

Can't comment on the other values that Denis suggests, but if you avoid France and go via Germany, Austria (Brenner Pass) and Italy you can cut back no end on the tolls. Last trip we did cost 15€ in tolls. The route is around 80 miles longer than through France, but if you want to go for it without hanging about too much it is easy enough to do with one stop-over, the second night being on the ferry from Venice or Ancona.

Yes you can save on tolls. In fact you can use "A" roads and spend nothing although it will take longer.
My costs are based on going autoroute through France, Mont Blanc Tunnel and Italy to either Venice or Ancona. Ancona's about 100 miles extra. I've done Germany/Austria/Italy and France/Switzerland/Italy but prefer the Mont Blanc route. I drive straight through with no overnight stop and do have a cabin on the Greek ferry. The cabin is expensive so you can also save a lot by having a sleeping bag on deck
You pays yer money and takes yer choice.
