I havent been to Lassi now for 8 years, I may have the opportunity to go to Kef again in early September, but my Mum's neighbour has just returned from Lassi, also after a few years absence and said they were very disappointed that the main street is now littered with Chinese & Indian restaurants, hardly any Traditional Greek ones like it used to be that was always one of the highlights of the holiday to visit a different taverna each night ...and especially 'Sirtaki' with the Blue Chairs were

We went to Lassi in May and the main street was full of Greek restaurants and tavernas it was only the second week of the season so if there is Chinese etc they must have opened up after we were there. I can only recall one Chinese restaurant

There is no Indian. There is no Chinese on the main strip, just the Chinese Dragon on the Fanari Road. (The Chinese House that used to be on the strip isn't even there - is now a Greek restuarant (Blue Sky)). I think your mum's neighbour was somewhere else!

All Greek tavernas in Lassi. A lot of things remain unchanged such as Greek nights at Zorbas and Sirtarki still doing a good trade. We have no Indian restaurant on the island as far as I know let alone in Lassi. One Chinese Dragon on the way to Argostoli which has been there for years. However there is a new Mexican restaurant in Argostoli called Desperados. I can recommend Retsetta Greek Taverna in Lassi run by the owner of Ionio taverna - another Greek taverna in Lassi. I agree with GUV1 - or maybe they drove through Lassi so fast they didn't see the Greek tavernas!
