You do surprise me mossa! Here in Liverpool it's like a spring day!
The sun is shining and the birds are twittering!
So much so,I had wished I had put on a light weight coat instead of my duck down quilted affair when I trooped off to the shops!

I'm glad you made the most of the spring weather matsui,
They say the cold freezing weather is coming back from Sunday onwards.
Booked our flights for May, can't wait.

We've had a beautiful few days here in Corfu, although it has been cold. 1.2 degs the other morning.

We went up to Cape Drastis on Tuesday to blow the cobwebs away and we did just that. We could hardly open the car doors because of the gale force winds. It was impossible to hold a camera steady. Stunning scenery though.

Wednesday we again decided to make the most of the good weather and went up Mount Pantocrator. Not so windy and the views were amazing.....from one end of the island all the way down to Paxos and incredibly far into Albania . It was so clear.

Unfortunately the forecast is now rain, rain, rain. I'm glad we made the most of the good weather whilst we could.

Trisa.

Me and Trev got married on Saturday here in Gateshead and couldn't believe it when we got up on the morning and saw the snow. Had a couple of days honeymoon in Paris where it was cold and raining so our proper honeymoon will be in Kassiopi when we get there in June - after all he did propose to me nearly three years ago on Corfu!

Warm today in Wiltshire but with rain earlier. Could walk down the garden to see the snowdrops without a coat on. Forecast not good for next week.

Congratulations angelofthenorth we had our honeymoon in Kassiopi 8 years ago in May and only missed going back once in the last 8 years, booked for September for a week. I know what you mean about the weather, I'm in Gateshead as well, dry today but very misty but I think Kassiopi has our rain from yesterday.

Cold, hail- up to my ankles in water as I struggled across to Lidl in the rain. Roof leaking badly also- so it is not only UK that suffers in winter!

Congratulations on your wedding AngeloftheNorth. I'm sure you'll have a fab time in Kassiopi. We're hoping to book up this week for two weeks at the end of June too. Not sure whether to try booking our flights and accommodation separately or stick with a package.

Hi Norman and Rita. We're booked for the Andreas Pool from Monday 28 June for two weeks - we booked it last September through Direct Holidays and got quite a good deal but the prices seem to change all the time!

Angela

P.S. Know I've said it before but love your avatar!

Only 7 degrees here this morning with a NE wind making it feel like 3 degrees.
Meteo.gr forecast this for the next 6 days along with rain. Had a tremendous storm last night, had to get up and unplug computer etc.

Trisa it appears that like us you are looking forward to better weather. Ours seems to have arrived whereas your "damp and miserable" conditions appear to be continuing?!

I do hope that changes for you very soon - and by no later than Monday 29th March when I will be back on Corfu!!

David
