Spent this lunchtime at the Agni Taverna.

We were told it was worth the journey - and I have to say it is one hell of a journey!!

However, when you get there the food is excellent and the staff friendly.

Alex tells us he cooked our meals personally (and if you believe that you will believe anything!!)

Definitely worth the visit!!

If its the road I think you took then it has some great views to compensate for all 27 hairpins as you descend. Certainly takes some getting used to as we dont have roads like that here.

You should have seen it before they concreted and tarmaced it. It is nowhere near the worst road in the area.
We were down there this lunchtime.

We drove from Sidari and enjoyed every minute of the experience.
Spent the day on the beach then got changed in the car, then went to have a fantastic meal.
Will be back again in May.
