Go to http://www.olympicairlines.com/ then Passengers' Info (on the left), then Words To Get You By - a very useful list of Greek phrases.

That's a really useful link - and it even has a little piece about pronunciations as well.

I know - it's a bit of a gem isn't it?

I discovered it quite by chance when looking for cheap flights...

I think Julez wants to prepare for her trip to Greece so that she doesn't come across the hurdles she experienced with lanuage in Croatia.

One important thing to remember is that yasou (yiassou, or for those who can read Greek ãåéá óïõ) should only be used when talking to 1 person who you know well.

When addressing more than one person, or talking to people who you don't know well, or have never met before, or they're a lot older than you (i.e. when walking into a shop or restaurant or doctor's surgery, or even greeting an old man sitting outside a kafeneion) the correct word to use is yasas (or yiassas, Greek ãåéá óáò).
