We will be traveling to Kefelonia from Corfu, do we take a ferry to Igoumenitsa and then to Vassiliki in Lefkas? Is that still in Igoumenitsa?
and is that far? Can we rent a car from Igoumenitsa port to Vassiliki to Kefelonia or should we take a taxi..I hope that makes sense

Ferry to Igoumenitsa (one /one and a half hours) then drive approx 60 miles to the south of Lefkas (two/two and a half hours) and then another ferry to the North of Kefelonia (one and a half /two hours. Due to ferry times etc it takes the best part of a day to get to where you want to be in Kefelonia.

Thank you for the great information...do you know if we would be able to rent a car for the drive to Lefkas or is there a flight that would take less time?
