I am looking for an apartment, house or villa to rent for about six weeks from Mid June. Preferably with two bedrooms. Must be smart, clean and pleasant. in a quiet location.

Hi there Lin and welcome to the Corfu Travel Guide

I don't know if holiday rental type properties are what you're looking for, but you could try Sunshine Travel who have accommodation on the North East Coast. I mention them as I rented from them for 6 weeks last year and so know that you can book for such a period of time, and also because the properties are based around the Kalami area which is a beautiful, quiet village.

Another offer for Sidari - will send the number if you are interested. The property is at the Velonades end of sidari - about 10/15 mins out of town. Spacious and clean. And above all in a quiet location - just past christinas if you know it.

I know of a 2 bedroom semi detatched cottage in San Stefanos n.w

on the outskirts of the village 5 mins. from the beach and village centre.

Thanks for your response... Cottage in Ag Steph sounds interesting. Please let me have more info...Proposed timing is from around mid June to end July but dates are fairly flexible at the moment.

The Cottage in St Stef comes recommended by me. (Sofri and I viewed it for inclusion in our Agni Travel 2007 listings - we are hoping to take it!) Great location and close to beach/tavernas. Recently decorated and furnished.

I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Thanks for your comments on the cottage in Aghios Stefanos, but I have had two offers of cottages, one in the NW and the other in the NE. Please advise as to which one you are referring.
