Was the Earthquake felt on the island yesterday afternoon. It was 4.8 in magnitude and details of its location are below.
45 km (25 miles) SSW of Ioannina, Greece
70 km (45 miles) ESE of Kerkyra, Greece

Nothing here in the North of the island. It's a strange thing but we have been coming and staying for half the year here for 8 years now and have only ever felt one 'quake but some people we know who live on the north west tell us they often feel them.

Yes felt it in Petriti-was in a taverna sat at a table and my friend was in the loo-she had at first thought there was a wobbly toilet and when she got up she shook the loo to see if it was!!
When she came back to the table she was ever so glad as she couldnt work out why the loo moved!!
