I'm going to Arilas on Friday 29 July for a week.  Can anyone recommend any nice restaurants in the resort?

Hi Annsie, firstly have a wonderful holiday, you will just love Arillas. The restraunts really are fab Our favourite is Thalassa on the beach front run by Yanis and the crazy, lovely Lita. If you go there tell em angie redshoes said to look after you! follow this link, it should tell you all you need to know http://www.arillas.com/ also go to the resort guide towards the bottom of the main menu board there you will find tons of info.

Our favourite taverna in Arillas was Brouklis (http://www.brouklis.com/). Try the daily specials, and the lovely house wine.

I can't find any info on the Thetis studios, but if its the Thetis hotel (you can book self catering here, so likely same place), then there are plenty of photos here for you http://www.arillas-travel.com/Arillas%20Travel%20GB/html/thetis_palace.html

Pretty laid back and mostly taverna and pool bar based, although there are a small number of music bars if you fancy a bit of a change.

If you feel like something a little more energetic at night, you can get a taxi into Sidari, which is only 10-15 minutes away.

You've got to go to Kostas on the Beach, especially at sunset, perfect. Get yourself to the Captains table, opposite the Rainbow complex, excellent food at very low prices, they have a greek night on Tuesday which is a good family night. The best Greek night is at the Marina Hotel on Saturday, really Excellent!! Hellen's snack bar is also a good place. The Chinese is another must. In fact you can't go far wrong in most of Arillas, it has to be the best resort for eating.

Enjoy!!!

The Marina Hotel is spot on for meals and a cracking Greek night.

Thanks for all the info.  Can't wait to try out the recommendations.  Just one more question before I go on Friday.......  can anyone recommend a fabulous special day out to celebrate a birthday plus an engagement? Something romantic!  And easy to access from Arilas.

All suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Annsie

If you like walking a good place to propose to is a little bay called Port Timoni.  Walk or drive to Afionas wen you get there look out for a suvernior shop & there is a sign saying Port Timoni its about 30 mins walk.  There it is secluded got a cave & U can swim lay on beach & propose there.  I found it beautiful.  I can say I would like to be proposed to there!!!!

Best resturant in Arillas is SeaBreeze by the Arillas Bay Apartments.  the resturant overlooks the sea & beach and you can spot sunset on evening.  I enjoyed it there.  Say Hi to Yanis & Thomas.  Say to Yanis Charlotte Says hi.

Have a good holiday & hope she says YES!!!! Do it in style.  Let me know how it goes.

Also if you can''t find Poir ttomoni Go to Dynoios Resturant it overlooks the beauty of Agios Georgios beach, lovely panoramic views of the beach & countryside.  You must try special corfu dish, Stafardo it's fabulous.  A total chill out place. Agios is only 30 mins walk. Good luck
