When you arrive at corfu airport is there a shop or snack bar in arrivals or do you have to wait till you get to resort, just asking as i know that you can be hanging around for a bit of time.

thanks ray

You can go and get something while you're waiting for the luggage!    Moyra

We have never had to wait very long for our luggage so have never needed to use the coffee shops, but they look ok

It is wise to grab some water to take on transfer if nothing else .. especially if you arrive in the middle of the night.

You are v. lucky Lily & Charlie's gran.  There is often a long wait.

Taxi Ray,

There are places to eat but they are not open 24/7 so depends when you arrive.

If you are concerned, maybe you could buy water and a snack on the flight over. We too have been lucky so far and not had a long wait.

Its best to buy food/drink on the plane of in the airport before you fly (after passport control of course).

Just a word of caution - there is mention of delays - yes sometimes it can take a little while for luggage to filter through - it depends on everything really - how many flights have landed around the same time etc etc but if everyone were to wander off to the cafe's etc and not get on the transfer bus then it delays everyone else sitting waiting on the coach and sometimes these people don't make it to the coach on time they are classed as 'no shows' and after a said amount of time the coach can then depart without them.
