Hi, I am using this forum because I have seen the Agni travel site a few times on google, and it seems very informative and friendly! I am looking for a holiday to Corfu, but cannot decide which would be the best place to go! I would be travelling with a friend and our 4 children age 5 - 7. I would prefer a villa with a pool by a nice pebble beach. Does anybody have any suggestions?

The beach at San Stefanos which is a lovely resort for families generally has to be my favourite although it isnt pebbly, there are also many pools there that holidaymakers use. We like going there as everyone is child friendly, but that is my biased opinion as we have been going for 26 years and love the place.

If its pebble then try Kassiopi, pretty with a nice harbour and several beaches or Paleo, see link below.

Kalami beach, although not pebbly is very very shallow for miles and ideal for small children. When my two were small they loved it there,no waves either, now they are older they like san stephanos because the waves are good fun.Paeleokastritsa is pebbly I think, and gorgeous views.

Hi SarahAnn

Welcome to the site.

If you want pebble beaches then the north east coast of Corfu is where you will find them. Kalami is my own favourite and I would recommend there but you may also want to consider Avlaki as you would have a huge pebbly beach there and all the facilities of Kassiopi within relatively easy reach. Have a look at this report from a recent visitor to Avlaki:

Went to Avlaki and loved it

You could also look at the on site resort guides for further information - see the links in the mostly blue column on the left of this web page.

I hope you find somewhere that suits you and have a terrific holiday on Corfu, Deedee

I would invest in those beach shoes so save their feet on the pebbles!
