hey everyone

My name is abigail and i am new to this site. I was wondering if anyone could help me my boyfriend and i are going to kalami on the 19 september for a week and we have both never been before, it is our first holiday together and would love to enjoy it to the full. Does anyone know what the weather is usually like in september? How hot does it get? What would be our best move, money wise should we exchange our pounds to euros before we go or is there a better option? thanx for reading, hope someone can help!!

Hi Abi

Welcome to the site. I am sure when more of our members are on line they will be able to give you extra advice.

Here is a link from the boards on the subject of what money to take.

We always take a mixture of local currency, small amount for essentials like water etc when we first arrive and travellers cheques and sterling. There is no ATM in Kalami. We find we get a better exchange rate on Corfu than the UK.

The weather is a bit cooler than in July/August but it is more comfortable although it can drop quite chilly at night. You can still get a tan and even if you do get the odd cloudy day, just pop into your nearest taverna and make friends. You will love Kalami.

Enjoy yourselves and have a wonderful time

LOL

Weather changes very fast - it's unreal to predict it precisely.
