Hi Bobbo,
It is situated between Gouvia and Kontokali on the Beach/Marina road, near to where the Gouvia Marina is. Take a look at the link for more information.
Thanks,Chris and Mrs D,I thought it was there somewhere,we are looking for somewhere for a friend to stay, close to us.We will be at stone villa Petros,on the road from Gouvia, almost in Danillia. We are just looking for b&b,He will spend his time with us,any ideas, bobbo

If your friend is spending the days with you Bobbo, and is only looking for something to lay his head, with a bit of breakfast in the morning, try the Takis in Kontokali, or Harry's Apts. Well recommended, and will take independant bookings, rather than package. Telesilla in Kontokali is also another idea.
Some of the others mentioned above, might be a bit pricy for someone who is not going to use the hotel and its facilities to the full.
The decision is yours mate.
Yammas, Chris.

Yeh,the problem is,Chris,is that although he is independant,he needs a bit of looking after, and couldn't drive abroad,so somewhere up on the Gouvia/Danillia border would be preferable,so that we can walk him home, bobbo

Sorry Bobbo, cross thread there. I did not mean your friend being independant, I was referring to the accommodations I mentioned being independant, ie, you can book direct with them rather than through a tour company. Sorry for the confusion.
Yammas, Chris.

What about that hotel on the road from Gouvia heading towards Aqualand just before that crossroads (you turn right for Aqualand, left will bring you back to the main road in Kontokali) only I can't remember what it is called! The number of times I have driven past there! It has palms outside, a sweeping drive and always looks closed although I am sure it isn't. I think it begins with D? It is going to annoy me all day now!!

Did not notice that before Bobbo. I think it must be a mistake, dont you. Probably should read something like Gouvia Town, or Kontokali. It is definately on the corner from where you are towards Gouvia.
Yammas, Chris.

Bobbo, try the links below. I think what they were trying to say in the other link I gave, was from the Paleokastritsa main road, which as you know runs from Corfu Town, through Kontokali and Gouvia.
