Hi,
Please could someone give me some advice??!!
My family and I are visiting Corfu in July next year and I would like to know if anyone used Easyjet last year at this time and if so what sort of price did you pay? I have found some flights which are or appear very competative with Aegean. The only reason i have not booked is that 1. we have 3 children(11,4 & 3) and it involves changing in Athens and 2. that niggling thought that i may just get it cheaper with easyjet!!
I would really appreciate any advice as we are on a budget and it will really help
Thank you!!
Peter

I know someone who flew Easyjet this year for about £160 each. However, I wouldn't fancy a changeover in Athens, especially with young children. Get there asap and if it's a few quid extra, it's worth it!!!
Easyjet prices won't be out for a few months tho.

If you can wait a few more months and see what easyjet come up with and also if they have decided to fly from any other Airports as well as Gatwick.
Also just keep your eye on flights over the next few months you may just go in and find a cheap deal from your local Airport straight to Corfu.

We flew E/J at the end of July (school Holidays) £444. for 4 people including speedy boarding and luggage.
I doubt that I'll be able to match that next year. Its just luck realy.
However Wendy and I have flown exclusively with E/J this year 10 times and never paid more than £160 pp.

Have flown 3 times to Spain with easy jet and speedy boarders may get on bus first but don't necessarily get on plane first, I have never paid for speedy boarding but so long as you check in early you should have no trouble getting seats where you want. Don't know if flying to Corfu is any different.

Hi Peter,
I booked with Easyjet last December for my flights to Corfu from Gatwick and return, flying on 12th August at a cost of £222 for the two of us (the return flight was 2 weeks later.) I could have had them for less than that, but couldn't confirm the booking at that time. I suggest you sign up for their e-mail alerts. Hopefully it won't be too long before the Summer flights are released. Last time I looked they were still only advertising flights up to March 2009.
A young couple we met last year flew to Athens, stayed there a few days and then flew down to Corfu, they had a wonderful time looking around Athens.
We have previously had excellent flights with Thomsonfly, but I think that could have been a one-off.
Good luck.

we booked flights with Easy Jet direct to Corfu in October07,for departure on the 28th August 08 the total cost was £131 for two of us return, the downside was the cost of petrol from Liverpool to Gatwick ,as petrol cost us more than the flight, and also the inconvenience of the journey.

I have just booked my flights to Corfu for next June. In past years have flown from Doncaster with Thompsons but the prices are now rediculous. It would be in excess of £700 for two return flights in June.
Decided to book through www.airflights.co.uk and got flights from Manchester for total cost of £450. Could have been even less if we had gone for night flights.
Another suprise is that our accomodation in Agios Gordios has only increased by 3 euros per day for the two of us.

I think you will find that the flights in question would have been booked with GB Airways (part of BA) before they were taken over by Easyjet. GB Airways flights were bookable a year ahead and Easyjet committed to honouring flights already booked.
