Hello Howie

You may be lucky.  The earliest we have ever been to Corfu is Spring Bank Holiday week (end of May ) and they were often around then in Agios Georgios.

Are fireflies about in June?

They seem to disappear at the end of May. Last year we saw them right up to 1st June and then no more. I guess the weather is a factor in when they can be seen.

Hi
I have seen them in early June, but as soon as it rained, they disappeared. Whether there was a connection, I have no idea.

Guess I will miss them again this year, as I don't plan to be there until June 10th.

This sounds like an exciting spectacle and as we are there from May 9 - 23 we should see them.

We will be there at the end of May (first time for a May visit) so I will look forward to seeing them. Sounds like it's something worth seeing!
