We have 2 flights booked from Manchester to Corfu on 11th June for one week, flying at 6am and returning 11am. Just wondering if these flights would be any use to anyone. Not sure about how to change names or even if it can be done, will check later today. Cant travel now because husband having surgery and even if well by then, cant get insurance. The flights cost us £300 for both, just checked flights, they are now selling for £255 each. We will only get £200 back off insurance as there is a £100 excess to pay. If these are any good to anyone let me know, only want the 200 we would get off insurance, just thought someone might benifit if thinking of booking to go at these times.

Hi Ann - firstly I hope you and Alan are both OK x

I'm sure easyjet charge £25.00 per name change if my memory serves me right but I believe it can be done, worth checking with them first.

I'm sure someone will want a couple of tickets though.

Good luck and love to you both x

Ann, Michelle is correct.
The purchaser of your tickets will also have to pay the difference in price---you paid £150 each for your travel dates, those dates are now £255 each a difference of £105 each plus the name change.
Please check yourself as I may be mistaken, I do hope so.

Hi,
It seems that it is £30.00 for a name change now, you do also have to pay the difference in price as Maggy says.

Hi All thanks for your replys, just checked easyjet and the info you have given is correct, so not that good a deal for someone as I was hoping, it would not be that great a saving. Why would they charge the extra when the seats are already bought? Can understand the admin charge for name change but not the paying for seat at todays price, oh well maybe the seats go down before I decide to claim the money off insurance, I wonder if they did go down and I sold them would they refund the difference. Thanks again for your help ladies it never ceases to amaze me how kind people are on this site, must be the Corfu magic lol Ann xxx

Sorry forgot Michelle me and Alan doing OK, the reality of the situation as hit home more today, think we were both in shock, now having to deal with more practical matters to try and keep my mind off things. Our lovely doctor signed me off work for a month yesterday because I have been so run down lately, too much going on, my job going soon, moving house and now Alans op, said my job now is looking after Alan. Had to tell his 13 year old daughter yesterday, not a good day but she very good, and seemed to cope with the news,s he loves her Daddy very much, so hoping all this as a good outcome and he fully recovers, staying positive Lol Ann xxx

I am keeping everything crossed for you and Alan, and you keep those positive thoughts both of you. You are both going to be faced with some testing times but you will get there - both of you xx

You also have all the Agni forumsters support too xx

So sorry you won't be able to go this year. Hope all goes well with Alan's op, and you will be able to look forward to getting to Corfu in 2012.

Keep positive. xx

How about changing the tickets for some time in the future - keeping them in your own names? This would cost you the admin fee, but nothing else (providing you pick a date when the price is the same or less than you paid). There is then a chance that you can use them when you are both well enough to travel and enjoy your holiday. If the worst comes to the worst you can do the same again, still only incurring the admin charge for a date change.

Thats a really good idea-I changed the date for a ticket I had to nearly a year later-at very little cost. Hope all goes well with the operation.

Thanks Woody, to be honest a trip to the crook-o lune would be a treat at the moment Alan still not been taken in for his op, so if not in for weekend might come and try one of your delicious burgers. We always enjoy the run up there and would be lovely to catch up with you and Dee, love to you both Ann and Alan xx
