having had a wonderful time on holiday i thought it would be nice carrrying on with  the  cooking but after trying numerous deli's i cannot find any orzo pasta (the one that looks like rice ) does anyone know where i can get it in the uk (preferably the north west)

Is that the one that's used in giuvetsi?

Not in the north west (they do deliver) and I don't know if they definitely have it but you could try here  www.greekstore.co.uk.  There's also a delicatessen in Bury called Katsouri's, they might have it.
