In that case i found that it is quite good food.  We have only been when its out of season and no one else is eating inthere, but they have always had everything on the menu and it is good food.

Takis taverna in Kontakali has excellent food with "different " choices.  Not a fish lover but the smoked mackerel was delicious.  Also Rouvas across the road comes greatly recommended and family of "Sakis Rouvas" so you never know he may be dining.

Harry's Taverna in Kontokali, well recommended, with a very good selection of food on its menu. Have a look at their own website.

Yammas, Chris.

Is that the one about halfway down the Potamas road coming from town, on the right hand side?

Hi Bruce,

I remember some years ago eating in the Three Brothers, and having to move the outer tables to make way for the congregation from the church together with the Icons covered in flowers, to pass through the taverna on their way round the town.

I cant for the life of me remember what celebration it was, but Wendy insists it was Easter, I know that afterwards we left for the airport and from the plane watched the firework displays as we dissapeared into the distance.

In those days the season started in April not May.

Bob.
