Now that I've got you looking! Please take a look at this.
I am taking part in a 100 mile race in the Himalayas in November and urgently need donations to reach my target of £1000.
Please look at the link and if you feel it a worthwhile cause, then save your money for one beer and donate to families in desperate need of help!
Many Thanks

Hi Andy,

Sorry you didn't get more support last time you posted. I imagine the economic situation means that one of the first things people have to cut back on are donations. I am sorry to say any donations I give have to be very meagre these days but it can't be helped.

This is such a wonderful charity; I sincerely hope a few people will be able to spare a pound or two to send you on your way.

Have you asked local firms and businesses if they could support you or had your local paper put something in about what you are doing?

Julia

Yes I have done local papers and all the businesses in the area, as you say times are getting hard but you never know I may just catch the eye of wealthy business man on this site!
And I take it the donation was from you, thankyou very much!

All, the best Andy, a very worthy cause.

Must admit at first I thought it was one of those many organisations that pretend to be working for a charity by getting people to raise funds for walks, cycles, runs etc. all over the world but then take most of the raised money in 'organisation' costs, I hate this deceit.

Yours is not one of those, being self funded, so people can give freely knowing all the raised money is going to the right place.

Eco
