Just a wee thing for anyone who has booked to fly from Gatwick with EasyJet!

Instead of departing the SOUTH terminal, Corfu flights will now use the NORTH terminal.

I'm sure this won't make much difference but I'd like to make sure peeps know!

Actually it depends on the flight number Easy Jet have issued to you as they are using BOTH terminals - you should check first before setting out! GG

Here's a quote from the email I have received by EasyJet, which perhaps makes things a bit clearer:

As a guide, if your new flight number starts with an '8', you will be flying from the North Terminal. If your new flight number starts with a '5' or is a UK domestic flight, you will be flying from the South Terminal

Everyone concerned should have received an explanatory e-mail.

But bear in mind that the north terminal flight is further and your holiday time is reduced by over a minute

Now that really depends if they take off to the East or the West. If it's East it will actually save 47.6 secs.

Do you know if you still have to book in at the South terminal and then make your way to the North terminal ?..This is what I have had to do in the past.

I have never had to do that Bruce. I booked with Easyjet a couple of weeks ago and printed off the confirmation which stated that we would be flying from North Terminal.

I had an e-mail from them  this morning confirming that it would be from North Terminal. I have never been with them before and just hope that things go well. We have booked a Saturday flight with decent flying times, outward from Gatwick at midday and from Corfu at 5pm. Just hoping that Corfu airport won't be too busy on a Saturday, we went on a Wednesday last year and it was magic at Corfu. We were the only plane on the tarmac.

Looks like we miss you again Bruce, we arrive 30th. Aug. for a month and I think that you will have left by then. Never mind, we might meet one day.

All the best, Alec.

Hi Martyn, Thanks!! I always was a bit dippy with computers!

Our Final invoice from Portland just states to go to the North terminal, dosen't mention checking in at the south first.

Love Bronwen x x
