Hi, can anyone out there tell me whether there are any traditional Greek nights on in June? The one's where they light fire around the floor and dance with a table in their mouth. This is what one was like on my first holiday (with Thompson was the best I've seen) on Corfu Island and it was a booked one through them. We went on a coach and headed North from St Georges Bay, South? Can anyone shed ant light on this place please?. I just don't know where it was, and I've been curious to find out ever since. The main reason is because my sister is having her first holiday abroad and she's coming to Corfu with me. I would like to show her just how fantasic it is in Corfu.
P.S it also included a three course meal.

Probably Luna d'Argenta at Ano Korakiana, you would have to contact them to find out what nights they are operating. If you 'Google' Luna d'Argento the details will come up, and contact details- look at the photos and see if you think it is the place that you want.

Tripas used to be fantastic, whenn you ate in the old shop or its garden, but you don't want to be put in the tourist room across the road. However I suspect any entertainment probably takes place there now

Hi Lindybell,
Tripas is still fantastic, I know because I spend the summers in Kinopiastes and have eaten there on several occasions. There aren't large crowds any more, due to lack of mass tourism, so there shouldn't be a problem getting a table in the garden area. There is a mixed crowd going there, Greeks and other nationalities (so not very touristy I would say, thank good, rather more of an international crowd). We often sit in the cafe opposite and watch the word pass by... and listening to the Greek band playing each night, they also still do Greek dancing, lot's of fun, I can really recommend it!
The food is very good, genuine Greek quisine with the best quality, the best I have ever tasted and fresh fruit, yougurt and honey to finsh the evening.
