Hi Vanian,

I have driven that route hundreds of times but I am not too good at directions!

However, as no one else has answered your query, here goes. There are several ways of getting there but I will give you the quickest.

When you leave the airport turn left. As you approach the end of the runway there is a slightly dodgy junction (you may get stopped here if a plane is about to take off) where you need to exercise some caution. Two roads merge and you want to effectively go straightahead ie turn left onto the road yours is merging with. Shortly after this you will come to traffic lights. Turn right here, the road sign should be showing Pelekas. This is quite a narrow road with ditches either side and will shortly bring you to another junction. Here you go left, again take care, it can take a while to pull out safely.

This is a nice road apart from a bottleneck at Alepou which may slow you down. Generally though, keep going for about 10 minutes, ignoring any turnings and you will come to Agios Ioannis. You will know you are there when you see a wine place on the left, around the bend after that is the Time Out Cafe also on the left. Very shortly afterwards there is a supermarket on the right. Immediately before this is a turning on the right into the village. If you come to Aqualand on your left you know you have gone too far.

Which part of the village are you looking for?

Julia

p.s. Anyone who knows the route please check my lefts and rights! I did think really hard about it but that is no guarantee that I have them the correct way round!

Sounds about right Julia. The only bit you need to be careful with is the junction where you turn right for Pelekas where I would have said bear to the right as there is also a sharp right almost going back on yourself going to the town.

Yes, I did try to say don't take the 35 degree right turn which is fractionally before the lights, take the 90-120 degree (can't quite remember!)turn at the lights but you can see why I cut that out!

Oh well, Vanian will be sware of that now!

Sounds like you could use a good map vanian, if you're going to be driving about!
