Hi - I'm staying not far from Aqualand, travelling in a couple of days time and would be grateful if someone could kindly help with the following:
1. Where is the nearest large supermarket
2. I understand the closest ATM is at Aqualand. Is it accessible from outside the complex? Is there any other close by?
3. Where is the nearest petrol station? Alternatively, if the price of fuel varies as it does in the UK, where is the cheapest in the area?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
Ian

Hi Ian
1.Sconto on the road back towards town & the airport is the nearest supermarket, there are also others (Marketo,Diellas) on the same road nearer town.
2. I think the ATM at Aqualand is no longer there but think there is one outside the small supermarket (used to be called No5) on the road, again to town/airport between Sconto & Ali Poo
3.There are several petrol stations at Agios Ioannis, through the traffic lights, all about the same price, maybe a lepta or 2 difference in price.

Yeti is correct in that there is no longer an ATM at Aqualand. It's a pain but there it is. The nearest ATM is back towards town in what used to be the Co-op supermarket. It's on the right about 1/2 mile before you get to the really tight bit of road.

3 gas stations with one directly opposite Aqualand. There is a shell garage which is 1/2 mile further West and then another garage virtually on the Ermones roundabout. The Shell garage is usually the cheapest by about 3 cents per litre.

Many thanks, guys.

Do you have any recommendations for places to eat?

There's a little taverna in Agios Ioannis on the main road by the traffic lights - walking distance from Aqualand.
There is also a small mimi market opposite the taverna.

Raffles Restaurant is two minutes walk away and you will be assured of a very warm welcome from Chrissie.
