Villa was very spacious and clean and had comfy beds.As we were a party of two, ordinarily we would have only used the master bedroom but due to the enormous appetite of the mosquitos at night, we thought we would try the twin room as the windows and doors had been closed up all the time. Sadly, this room smelt of damp and you could see patches of damp on the walls AND the "mosies" still got us!!
The position of the villa was great for the walk down to the harbour 5/10mins but defintely 15 mins back due to steep hill leading to villa.(This was our daily workout!)
Unfortunately, the sun disappeared from the garden by 5pm so we didn't enjoy any evening sunshine in the garden.Pool filter was very efficient but extremely noisy! It came on 3 times a day, usually when I was just drifting off to sleep in the sun.
We were a bit annoyed when two chaps ( one Greek, one English) from another travel company turned up to view the villa. They did ask if they could look around but I still felt annoyed that our privacy was invaded. ( We should have been asked beforehand??)We were also disturbed by a Russian plumber who was in the garden on two occasions at about 9pm. The first time to access the drains for the villa next door and the second time to clean the filter for the pool.We had to go and investigate who was in the garden on both occasions.
Talking of plumbing, the washing machine leaked which I did report to the maids.
We enjoyed our stay in Katelios and would return but not to that particular villa.

Thank you Agni,
Villa Okeanis was perfect (especially the pool) with the short walk to the tavernas and mini market it is the ideal setting so quiet and peaceful.
We also took the water taxi to Skala a few times which not only gave us easy acess to the next town but a great view of Katelios.
Definately recommend Villa Okeanis and Agni Travel.

We thought the Villa Okeanis was beautiful. We liked the location and we found it easy to get to most places on the island. The pool was fantastic. We had a wonderful holiday in Kefalonia.
thank you so much for a wonderful holiday at the Villa Oceanis- it was a perfect relaxing holiday. The villa is beautiful, immaculate and spacious. We loved the location because it was so peaceful. We liked Captain Jerry's taverna in Katelios and Aliti's cocktail bar was fantastic. We also enjoyed evenings out in Scala and our favourite restaraunt was The Old Village in the main street- the kids loved the park at the end of the evening.
The cost of the food was more than we expected in the local supermarket and found shopping in Scala slightly cheaper.
We spent our days when not around the pool, at Karminia beach ideal for little children and we also managed a trip up to beautiful Assos. We knew there was still so much more to see so we will have to visit again soon!
the only comments that could count as a Cons for us was that the double bed was the hardest we have ever slept on and lumpy- we needed to use the sun lounger mattresses under the sheet! For a villa of this quality we think this should be improved (please!). We also couldn't get a couple of the air conditioning units to work- one in the kitchen, lounge and more importantly the second bedroom. This would have been more of a problem in the hotter months. there was a fan in the second bedroom which my eldest coped with so I didnt raise this with Agni and we weren't inside enough to worry about the others.
Agni travel were fantastic the whole holiday was excellent the attention to detail with all our arrangements was very reassuring. One of the best holidays we have ever had and with three younger children we think this is hard to beat. Every detail was spot on. Well done Agni- we will definitely book again.
