Marble House is the perfect location for everybody who is looking for a very quiet and relaxing holiday with an amazing view from 3 terrasses overlooking Gouvia and the sea. Although it is located in the middle of the island it is not far away from Corfu town, a beach or a supermarket (10 minutes by car). There are plenty of shopping facilities along the main street and the smaller supermarkets in Gouvia are also open on Sundays.
The house itself is very impressive with a hugh swimming pool and a tennis court. A maid and a pool cleaner are coming 3 times a week and they are both doing an excellent job. Although it was not easy to communicate with them (no English or German,but we managed o.k..
We spent 2 weeks at Marble House with my parents, my brother and friends and we ALL enjoyed our stay.
The team from Agni Travel is very professional and we would love to come back to Corfu and Marble House.

Marble House was perfect!
The views were breathtaking - and it was wonderful to sit on the terrace enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching the magnificent sunset. The pool was a hit with the kids - and we loved having an outside bar and BBQ -it was a delight to eat outside every night. We used the tennis court much more than we thought we would - early in the morning and then late in the evening up until 9.30pm. The gardens and grounds were colourful and lovely and a source of many squeals as the kids chased lizards.....It was a treat to have four bathrooms - no queues for the shower - and the beds were very comfy. The air conditioning was a relief at the end of a hot day and we made use of the huge sitting room to watch a few movies.... Agni Travel were brilliant - nothing was too much trouble - from arranging babysitting to booking cliff top restaurants and hiring power boats - they really made the holiday special. We will be back!

We stayed at Marble House with our 4 teenaged children for 9 days. We loved the villa. Our boys loved the lit basketball courts. My husband and I never tired of the view from our patio off the bedroom. The pool and facilities around it were perfect.
VERY private yet easy to get to a beach (our favourite by far was Agios Gordis....try the tubing!) or into Gouvia for a Taverna or internet time. Lots of good restaurants up the coast.
This would be a great place to chose if you had 4 couples wanting to share a place as each of the 4 rooms had a full ensuite, air conditioning and balcony.

We just returned from Corfu, Marble House on Sunday morning. It was fantastic!!! Thank you for everything, Agni! We had the best time! All that house just for us ! First time ...we couldn`t belive it! And the view : spectacular ! I could see the sunrise from my bed.
We are now in love whith Corfu.

We had a really very good time in the Marble House during our stay in Corfu for 4 nights for the period 21-25th of May 2010. The weather was good enough 20-23 Degrees Celsius so we were on the beach every day, swam in the sea and made also sunbathing and playing in the pool of the Marble House. We also used the BBQ, spent a lot of good moments in the numerous terraces of the house enjoying the wonderful views. To play tennis and basket was one more wonderful option for us to spend good moments.
We had our own cars with us so we could make a lot of trips to the different parts of the island. As the property is a little isolated from the Corfu town (about 15 km) we would recommend either to have your own car or to use a Rent-a-car service.
We visited the Corfu town (Kerkyra) more than once and admired the beautiful old buildings, fortresses, and especially the very small streets in the Old Town with its own spirit, souvenir shops, tavernas and cafes.
Pros: Wonderful house, 4 bedrooms each with own bath and toilet, fully equipped kitchen, marvelous views in all directions of the island, very good pool with chaise-longues, BBQ, tennis and basket-ball pitch, beautiful garden with wonderful flowers and trees all over the property, very quiet location, etc. etc….
Cons: A little isolated from the Corfu town (about 15 km) and from the nearest beach (5 km) so it is recommended either to have your own car or to use a Rent-a-car service (but the positive is the splendid views from the hill and the quietness of the place); a part from the fully equipped house there was neither a groom nor any other cleaning device for the floors, few programs on the TV (they are especially Greeks) and the most important – the lack of a Wireless Internet connection.
Resuming all the positive and negative things I am fully persuaded that the positive prevail considerably:
I would like to point out the very professional and kind attitude of all persons from the Agni Travel team so we think we will use their service again in the future.
Finally I would recommend sincerely the Marble House in Corfu to everybody wishing to spend a wonderful and unforgettable holiday in Greece.

We couldn't believe the magnificence of Marble House or that it was all for us! A massive swimming pool, BBQ, gardens and tennis court, it was all too much to take in! The house has fabulous views over Gouvia Marina and a great roof-top terrace for sunbathing. It was all so peaceful and private, we hardly moved all holiday! Thank you to the owners for making us so welcome and to Agni Travel for making everything so easy. We can't wait to come back to Corfu.
