Holiday Review: As I mentioned in an earlier post there are very few one bedroom villas in Kefalonia and so the ideal solution is to look for a two-bedroom villa which you will often find to be actually cheaper than a one-bedroom villa. In this way you have a choice of superior, private villas with their own swimming pool and sea view. If you prefer to stay near Fiscardo and area looking for a honeymoon villa - a good choice is the Villa Valio with wonderful romantic sea views of extensive coastline and far reaching ocean towards Lefkas. In the south the Villa Nora is excellent and has the quirky touch of snuggling up to the owner's private chapel giving it some extra privacy and an unusual backdrop for some lovely photos. Although you may not immediately think of booking a three-bedroom villa for a honeymoon, the Villa Atlantis has the most wonderful master bedroom with three separate balconies and four sets of balcony doors leading out to a choice of wonderful views towards the sandy beaches of Mounda or up to the Eagles Nest which is an attractive mountain backdrop to the villa. Secluded and romantic. Also has a Jacuzzi and private pool in the garden. Leisurely stroll to the local taverna by the beach........ You will find that Agni Travel can offer good selection of honeymoon villas.
A fabulous villa located in a totally idyllic location on a sandy beach. The private pool and nearby tavernas mean a car is not essential and complete this beach heaven.
