Agni bay is a quiet and un-spoilt bay,
located on the NE coast of Corfu. On the map, Agni is between Nissaki and
Kalami. It is not often marked as it is only recently that a road was
brought down to the bay.

Walking
If you are a keen walker, then you will find Corfu a delight. There are more than four million olive trees, making Corfu the greenest Greek Isle!
Take a look at the Taverna Agni
Walking Map and you may find you are staying close enough for a walking visit to us - and maybe a boat taxi home if you prefer! There are many coastal paths from the surrounding bays - but good shoes will generally be needed.
Taxi
If your only option is by taxi (you are visiting by cruise ship for example), then you will find the local taxis most helpful although maybe a little expensive – they only have summer trade after all. Most speak English, but just in case you have any problems, print out the following: (It tells them in Greek that you want to go to Taverna Agni – with directions!)

By road from the South and Corfu Town
Heading out from Corfu town, take the main road up the north of the island (sign-posted Paleokastritsa). After 6km you will pass Gouvia. Take the next right turn which is at a set of traffic lights - the signpost says "Kassiopi". This road is the NE coastal road and is smaller and bender than the one you have just been on. Follow this road passing through the resorts of Dassia, Ipsos, Barbati and Nissaki. Now look at my "TAVERNA
AGNI MAP" the road you are on is the thick red one in the middle of the map. Find Nissaki
which is at the bottom left corner. Stay on this road until you pass the
‘Nissaki Beach Hotel’. Continue for about 100 meters and you will see our
sign at the top of the Agni road (on the right hand side) on a bend! Follow
the Agni road - (well track really) down to the bottom. There is a small car
parking area run by the local council. Walk down to the beach and you will
see our little Taverna 50 meters to your left.
