Moving to a new country, to start a new life, is a complex operation. Through planning and consideration of all of the aspects impinging on the success must be considered before uprooting your family. Of course the more people involved, the greater the problems. A young single person only has to consider themselves, where as a family consisting of several school aged children needs to think very carefully before taking the plunge. But, the rewards can be high and if you are looking to start a new life in a very accommodating environment, then with plenty of planning and level headedness, you can make it work.

Should You move to Corfu?

Surprisingly, many move to Corfu only to discover that it is not for them. The number that leave the island after one or two years, is probably much higher than you imagine.  I have spent many years listening to people in the Taverna who have moved to Corfu - and those that have failed - leading me to program a  system to help you identify if you suited to the Corfiot way of life. The results from this test will help direct you to aspects of your plans that will need further investigation and research on your part.
Complete the following as honestly as you can. Answer the question - before looking at the available answers - and select the closest!

1, Do you plan to:

2, Do you plan to start a business in Corfu?

4, In your Corfiot house, do plan to convert all of the electrical power points (sockets) into the same ones that you have in your own county?

5, Do you enjoy eating Olives?

6, Do you detest all the bureaucracy and laws that currently effect you?

7, Do you drive?

8, Which type of 'drinking place' would you most often frequent when living on Corfu?
