hey just got back from sidari the beer is still dirt cheap but the food prices have gone up 10 euros for a steak :( at sunset beach 7th heaven

as for ciggys greek brand leader 1 euro for 20 ;)

embassy no 1 work out at 2.5 euro per 20

beer in the bars 3 euros for a large amstell or mythos

maybe 4 for a tequila sunrise

if u going to sidari look for a shop called vlasseros travel  (hard to miss they have red phone boxes inside) opposite the bakery

near shakers bar

the erikousa island tour was magical if you like dolphins i advise you take it ;)

they swam around the boat and made my day and my muisseses

Hi Crazymazy,

Mythos is a Greek beer, and is enjoyed by many, specially when served ice cold. It is something one has to try when visiting Corfu. Take a look at the link below. In the meantime, may I wish you a very Happy Holiday, have fun and a great time. Have a Mythos for me please.

yammas.

Hi

Does anyone have more details about the Erikoussa trip, such as where to book, how long the sail / day is? Also about the dolphins!!! Thanks.

Hi magenpies,

Here is a previous thread where trips to Erikousa was discussed. Hope you'll find some useful info on it.

We went on the Erikousa Island trip. No dolphins! Alas!! We booked at Vlasseross(Is that right?)  The cost was €15  per adult, my 10year old daughter was half price.I found the trip a bit pointless to be honest! Shock! Horror! We only went on the off chance of seeing dolphins, but we wanted to enjoy ourselves anyway. The only thing to do was sunbathe on the boiling hot sand, swim, (but watch out for jellyfish and sea-urchins) or eat, at a reasonably priced cafe. I was looking forward to the hour long trip back to Sidari!

We came back from Corfu on Saturday morning after a frustrating time at Corfu airport! We arrived at 3.30 am, and had to wait outside the airport until 4.55 am, and we only got inside the building  then because of our children! My sister-in-law got round this problem by having a daytime flight and arriving 3 hours before she needed to!( Which kind of defeats the object!!!)

Each to their own.

I think it is a beatiful island, and apparently does George Bush senior as he was spotted on the Island today.Iam informed his friend lives on the Island.

Have just returned and went on the Erikousa Trip.

We didn't see any doplphins and also were suprised at the lack of shaded areas, the day we went the temperature got up to 38c and with hardly any shade we all returned burnt! with factor 30 suncream.

As the brochure states about the trip, it is literally a relaxing day at the beach! there really is nothing else to do! did enjoy myself though.
