Just in case it happens to anyone else. We recieved a virus on Wednesday night and another on Thursday morning. It came into Pams mailbox and purported to come from a family member and included an attachment that she naturally assumed was ok but unfortuanely it wasn't.

It caused allsorts of mischief before we got rid of the first one then another one came along about 12 hours later. Touch wood we have not had anymore.

Thankfully we are well protected with McAffee, Adaware and Spybot so things weren't as bad as they could have been. I know at times it is a bit of a bind scanning for viruses etc. but it has certainly saved us a lot of heart ache.

Actually the worst part was not getting onto this site but we got through it and only 153 days to go.

Started a Greek language course last night and the tutor learnt her Greek in Corfu and as their was only 5 in the class enjoyed picking her brains over Corfu. Course lasts another 10 weeks so should be really clued up by the time September comes.

Don't know about being brave. It is something I have meant to attempt for a long time and the chance of doing it came out of the blue so I jumped at it.

The reason there was a course was that the tutor taking it was intending to do Art then they found out she was fluent in Greek and the powers that be tempted her to switch so it was good luck for us. The fact that it made them look good probably had nothing to do with it.

I look forward to getting details of the CD. I feel it will be a great help.

That is what I like about this site. Everyone is always willing to help and give advice.

Appreciate it Sean

LOL Liam

Lucky for you. I live in Oxford and with the amount of language schools you would have thought I would get lucky but its all french spanish and italian courses. There again I work shifts and with my luck I would probably miss most sessions anyway.  Hope you enjoy it

Having just come to live in Hartlepool in January I have to admit it is sometimes easier to understand Greek.

I mean being a true born Englishman from Newcastle they can be a bit difficult to understand.

To all natives of Hartlepool this is only in fun but stop "hanging monkeys".
