Hi Graham T A; I think you misheard, I heard they are trying to get bands from abroad in Acharavi not 'broadband'.

LOL. You are probably right again Ian. More chance of getting bands from abroad than Broadband.

As I am out her for the season I bought my laptop with me and have now got internet access with Vodafone in Corfu Town.  It cost me 40e for the moden and sim card that fits into the laptop and had taken out a contract which is costing my 15e per month which is coming out of an English account.  All I needed was my Greek Tax No, a bill i.e water or electric and 3 landline numbers(not sure why).  I will still be able to use it when I go back to England.  This must be available in England.

Because I don't have a telephone in my house here this is the best way for me. <SCRIPT language=javascript>
