Hi Cath,
You have picked a good hotel to stay in. I work for Olympic holidays, and have repped the yiannis for the last few years. This year i am not going back until 30th may, so sadly I won't be your rep this year.
It will be quiet when you are there, but hopefully there will be a few bars and restaurants open. The yiannis does have a bar, and I am sure george the bar man will make sure you have plenty of beers. You are not too far from Corfu Town, so if all else fails you can easily visit there.
The day you are arriving is the Monday after Greek Easter, so the locals, will probably start opening up a few days after the holidays.

Whereabouts is the yannis - I thought it was at the pyrgi end but another forum member said it is analypsis end. Mic would prefer to be in pyrgi but as he won't do any of the organising he can put up and shut up!! We went to Zante with Olympic last year and they were spot on especially as it was a late booking allocation on arrival (nicest studios I have ever stayed in)
