My friend worked out in Corfu (Kavos) all of last summer. She booked a cheap holiday after her exams and had the idea that she would be staying out there, during the holiday time she looked for work. She said if she didn’t find anything or didn’t like it she would come back on the flight already booked. She had many different jobs whilst out there and never found there was a shortage. Her mum went and visited her on her birthday for a surprise which was nice for her. After the season had finished she booked herself on a flight home which wasn’t very cheap so that is something to bear in mind.
She absolutely loved it and is thinking of doing it again this year. I don’t think she would have come home if the season was all year round! Most of the time it is cheaper to book a package holiday than organise your own flights and accommodation.
I’m not sure if this would work for anyone else but it is an idea. Good luck.
