No figures picked out of the sky a sensible amount that people would pay.

I would certainly pay for a membership in the range others have suggested. As this weekend's posts have shown the site is treasured by many on a personal level; surely it also contributes to tourist interest in Corfu which is so important in these times.
If at the same time some other person starts a forum expressly for no-holds-barred discussion (taking it outside, as it were) the two measures together might enable Nathan to reconsider. Unless of course he has just had enough, which is understandable.
