On my desk top "Gadgets" its showing the euro (at) 1.19, may be time to top up the FairFx card did a transfer to Alpha the other day and got 1.17.4

We got one euro eighteen to the pound at the bank in Corfu yesterday... the rate looks a lot healthier than this time last year!

That makes London more expensive for Corfiots but Corfu much cheaper for British tourists than last year.

Since our prime minister used his veto the pound has been getting stronger against the euro every day and has this morning gone over the €1.20 to the pound stirling, the first time for several years.
