As most of the buses operate from Corfu town, I'd like to ask does anyone know of buses that run from Paleokastritsa to Pelekas, and of any such service between Pelekas and Sinarades? Also, does the bus from Corfu town to Sinarades go down to Agios Gordios too?

Can only help with the latter query - yes the Corfu town bus does go down to Agios Gordios.

From Paleokastritsa you take the long distance Green bus to Corfu town, walk to San Rocco square and take the short distance Blue bus number 11 to Pelekas.

There is no service between Pelekas and Sinarades.

From Corfu town to Aghios Gordios you have to take the Green bus from the bus station near the new port.

Here is the bus timetable.

Sometimes you might be better off to catch a taxi, but ask the price first as they are not cheap.

Good Luck, Stevie.

Thanks to ele 56 and Stevie, few more touches to clarify if you allow me.

Does the Corfu-Ag Gordios bus service operates year round or it's only for the season, as I've met a sort of info in the net?

Also, I assume the Paleo-Corfu bus follows the Ethniki Odos Palaiokastritsis route (as shown on Google maps) in such case, doesn't it?

Its a nice walk on trails between Pelekas and Sinarades; takes about 1 hour 45 minutes.

Buses operate all year round with extra buses in the summer months.

Sorry, I don't know what route the Paleo bus takes.

Stevie.

I think the Corfu to Agios Gordios only operate through the Summer months.

Through the Winter they go as far as Sinarades. I am sure that is what I have been told when in A.G.

Viv, probably you are right as George told us that only about 5 families live in Agios in the winter!
