I am a UK Scout Leader and next year I will be bringing a large Expedition Team to Corfu to walk the Corfu Trail. I would really like to make contact with the local Scouts in Corfu, so we can meet up whilst we are there. I understand that there are a few groups on the island, but I can't seem to find any email addresses for them, and all of their websites crash.
Does anyone know of any leaders I can contact?

There are Scouts on Corfu, but as is suggested in the link they are affiliated to the Baden Powell Scouts Association. They are based in Corfu Town. I will see if I can get a contact for you.

When I visited Corfu Donkey Rescue in July there were Scouts there helping out for day. Maybe Judy has some contact details.

Guides and Scouts also camp in Paxos each year so I will see if anyone has an idea where they are from. The Guides also have males in, or did when I was a leader of a trip. Was interesting as it was supposed to be to encourage leaders there to take up walking etc. However the ones who took part were mostly not in the slightest bit interested in walking, as are a lot of Greeks. They dislike it so much they will hop on a scooter to a shop just yards done the road!!
Unfortunately no contacts from then as no point as the project we were supposed to be on was canceled due to an earthquake and the horrid leader we were linked to didn't want us and forbid others from speaking to us!!! Good job I knew this wasn't typical of Greeks in general and just ingnored the old bat!!!

I have spoken to my friend and she is going to a scout meeting on Wednesday and will ask about who to contact about your enquiry. They recently did something similar with scouts from Australia. I will keep you posted when she gets back to me..julesxxx
